Getting to document first’s for families is always such an honor, but when it’s friends who get to take a turn in front of my camera, it’s a little sweeter. This Dana Point family session was just that– friends getting their family pictures taken for the very first time! Dana Point couldn’t have been a better location for a family session! It is such a picturesque location with those beautiful rocks, and dark sanded beaches.
When I enrolled my daughter in ballet class, I never expected her to make such a good friend. Especially at such a young age! But I’m so thankful that she did, because if she hadn’t, I would have never crossed paths and become friends with this sweet family! It’s such a wonderful thing to witness our daughters form this friendship.
To our new friends: Thank you SO much for the honor of capturing your first family photos! It means so much that I got to do this for you. You’re one of the most authentically sweetest families I have had the pleasure of having in front of my camera. Thank you for the laughs throughout the session, and for the trust you put in me as we navigated through some gnarly rocks! But most of all, I want to thank you for your friendship and for the kindness you have shown Brynn. It means the world. I can’t wait for our next play date! I hope you love your photos! xo
