Meeting Natasha and Michael at Lake Cuyamaca for their engagement session was SUCH a treat! And that is a big understatement! After having to reschedule multiple times over the course of 6 months and then getting thrown into quarantine for another few months, it’s safe to say their engagement session was LONG overdue!

Let me start by saying that the drive to Lake Cuyamaca was gorgeous. And once there, I was blown away at how pretty everything was! Maybe it’s the 4 months of quarantine talking, but I highly doubt it. Just wait until you see the photos of their engagement session below. The location was perfect! The lake and tall pine trees made us feel like we were in a completely different world which was a nice treat for us all.

I had never been to Lake Cuyamaca, let alone have an Engagement Session at Lake Cuyamaca, but I was so grateful that Natasha and Michael were up for exploring the area. It is definitely a hidden gem in Southern California for those forest-like feels which make the long drive worth it.

To Natasha & Michael:  I had such a great time exploring the lake with you! It was wonderful to finally be able to get together for your engagement session after so much planning and rescheduling. Your sweet and cheerful personalities are so contagious and I cannot wait for your wedding. You are both such troopers for putting up with the sudden wind chills and heatwaves, the bugs, and all the trekking. Also, thank you SO much for thinking of me and bringing me back a slice of apple pie from your Julian lunch trip. It was delicious!! I made sure to eat it before my husband or kids tried taking bites away from me haha! Enjoy your photos!
