“Tell me that you want me, and I’ll be yours completely. For better or for worse. And I still remember feeling nervous, trying to find the words to get you here today.” Those were the sweet words that were sung and heard through Marbella Country Club as Erika and Steven danced to their first dance as Husband and Wife. The sun was slowly setting behind the treeline. The two of them were in their own little world at that moment, surrounded by those that love them most. It was such a beautiful sight.
Marbella Country Club is such a gorgeous venue, and Erika and Stevens blush and gold toned details suited it perfectly. The day was something like that from a fairy tale. From the perfect princess-like wedding dress, complete with the most delicate floral details. To the beautiful castle-like grounds with amazing tree lines and equally beautiful architecture. Adding to the beauty of it all, Erika and Steven wore the biggest smiles the entire day. Seeing my couples so full of love and happiness on their wedding day is truly one of my most favorite things. It was so sweet to see how Steven would help Erika navigate her way around with her dress, and would even hold the train himself, close behind her. With the way Steven would look at Erika the entire day, it was clear as day that he was completely smitten.
With so much beauty surrounding the day, deciding on one favorite element is hard to do. But I do have to say that when Steven and Erika made their second special entrance in their traditional Chinese attire, in honor of Steven’s Chinese heritage, was one of my favorite parts of the day. It was such a beautiful gesture, and the garments were breathtakingly gorgeous.
To Erika and Steven: I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to capture your beautiful day. The day was magical, and I admired how you both just went along with the day and enjoyed it. I have adored working with both of you, and hearing all about your experience in the medical field and how it brought you together.
