When I suggested a sunrise session to Amanda and Dillon with a 4am wake-up call for their engagement session at LACMA, I thought they would surely say no and think I’m crazy. I even surpised myself, honestly! I’m NOT a morning person by any means, but I just knew the location would be totally worth it. And thank goodness that they agreed, because it was magical! If you’ve ever been to LACMA, you KNOW it’s always crowded and the light display is always swarmed with people. It was such an amazing sight and experience to have the place all to ourselves for the engagement session.
Amanda and Dillon’s LACMA engagement session was beautifully tied together with both of them dressed like a million bucks and with a pretty bouquet in hand. I CANNOT stress enough how much a fancy outfit, and a couple of flowers can do to your sessions! They add an extra level of dimension and detail that just can’t be beat! I loved how the navy popped against the white posts, and complimented both of their eye colors, too!
It was so sweet getting to hear how Dillon and Amanda met at Cal State Fullton throughout the session. They were both studying different things, but by luck they had one elective class together! Chatting in between shots is once of my most favorite things to do during sessions. If you’ve been in front of my camera, you know how true this is! Listening to fun stories about my clients is something I thoroughly enjoy and always look forward to. But I’ll stop talking now and let you scroll down to see just how pretty LACMA is before hours!
