I’m so excited to share this Coronado Beach maternity session I had in San Diego last week! You’ve probably heard me say this a million times before, but maternity sessions are one of my all time favorite types of sessions. A definite second favorite to engagement sessions!
If you’ve been following a long, you know that I haven’t had a maternity session in a very l o n g time ( :[ ), which had me itching for one so badly! Lo and behold, a few days later Arielle sent me an email inquiring about a maternity session while visiting San Diego from Arizona. And not only was she asking to have a maternity session with me, she mentioned that her friend, Amy Demos, AKA: my photography IDOL , had referred her to me. Let’s just say I was a mess of emotions, but most of all, I was so very thankful and honored.
The day of the session arrived and to say I was nervous would be an understatement! We met at Coronado Beach in San Diego for their maternity session, and the minute I met Arielle and her sweet little family, the fear melted away. Their sweet and inviting personalities are just SO infectious that you can’t help but smile and be happy when you’re around them! I had such a wonderful time getting to know Arielle, Dan and Gavin. Let me tell you– little Gavin is such a stud muffin, but he sure did give me my workout for the rest of the month! Boy, is he FAST! It was so cute to see how much he loves the beach. He was having such a great time running around, getting wet (more like muddy!), and showing off his monster cars.
To Arielle, Dan and Gavin: Thank you SO much for giving me the honor of documenting this special time in your lives, and for moving around you schedule to fit mine, to be able to do so. I honestly meant the world. You three are so full of love and kindness, and your sweet baby girl is truly blessed to be coming into this world to a family like yours. Congratulations on your growing family! Here’s to a safe, and easy delivery….and getting all the sleep you can before she gets here!!
