Spring is in full bloom here in Sunny Southern California, and Coto de Caza did not disappoint for Megan and Alex’s engagement session.  There were wildflowers galore and luscious greenery all around us.  I met with Megan and Alex last weekend at Coto de Caza for their engagement session, and let me tell you, they were such troopers! You wouldn’t be able to tell from their look in the photos that they were being attacked by gnats at every turn.  Megan even braved through the unknown within the shrubbery and greenery, all while wearing open-toed shoes (something I would be too scared to do!).  They totally rocked their e-sesh like pros!

I love having engagement sessions at Coto de Caza year-round because it is always so beautiful there. It’s so fun getting to wander around with my Brides and Grooms, while we searching for the perfect light. It really gives us time to get to know each other before their big day. I can’t recommend engagement sessions enough!  I had so much fun with Alex and Megan and enjoyed seeing their giggles of amazement at all the people taking portraits, too, a few feet away from them (which you would never know from looking at these photos!).

To Megan and Alex:  I can’t wait to capture your big day, come August! I’m so excited for it and I can already tell you’re both going to make a stunning Bride and Groom!  Your personalities together are so sweet, yet so fun! I really enjoyed getting to see that shine through in our short time together.  Thank you for venturing into the unknown of the tall grass, and for bearing with me as I swallowed a couple of gnats in between shots (gross!) haha.  Enjoy your photos!
