You guys! THIS is my most favorite location EVER! If you want to feel like you’re walking through Italy without having to hop on an plane, Mission San Juan Capistrano is for you! It’s beautiful ruins, and lush gardens never disappoint. Needless to say, you could only imagine my excitement when Xochitl and Leveni, told me that they had decided on The Mission as the location for their engagement session!
I met Xochitl and Leveni at Mission San Juan Capistrano last Monday. After the most rainy week of the year, we luckily caught break and had the sun come out just in time for their engagement session. Don’t let the sunshine fool you though! It was socold! Xochitl is my hero for braving through the windchill in her beautiful floral, flowy dress!
It’s always so great getting to spend an afternoon with my couples to get to know them before their wedding day. I loved getting to hear all about how Xochitl and Leveni met and how they got engaged. I also absolutely love getting to find out what little things make them giggle to get those genuine smiles out. For Leveni and Xochitl, every time I would ask them to go forehead to forehead, they would adorably look at each other and giggle before getting into position. I can’t blame them! It’s not every day that you’re putting your forehead against somebody else’s and being asked to do so many things simultaneously! Although it may feel awkward at the moment, I promise you that it will look great photographed!
To Xochitl and Leveni: I had such a fun time with you two at the mission! And also, thank you for braving through the cold! I’m so excited for you wedding in August! I already know it’s going to be beautiful and filled with lots of love and laughter! Enjoy your photos!
