Family Sessions are ALWAYS fun, but this particular session was a tad bit more so :)! You see, the babe-of-a-mom in these photos is a photographer friend of mine! Getting to photograph a friend is always a treat and so much fun, so of course I was honored when she asked me if I could take her first ever family photos! Priscilla had her heart set on having their pictures taken in Long Beach, since that is where home is to them now. They wanted to have a part of home in them, so we met at Long Beach. After much planning, the day finally arrived. The day was COLD. It was windy. It was chaotic. But Priscilla and her family were total professionals and made it look effortless (you can’t even tell we were all freezing on the beach by looking at the photos!). They were such troopers to brave through the cold wind in their adorable spring outfits!
Seeing families interact with each other is one of my favorite things. Each family has their own dynamic and it’s honestly a treat to get a glimpse a family’s life. The Caraveo’s love for each other shined through the entire session. Her kiddos (the two youngest are twins, by the way!) are so well behaved, and I was seriously in awe as a Mom haha (Priscilla, how do you do it?!) . The session was filled with laughs, crazy hair due to wind, and jumping jacks in-between shots to keep warm! It was a great after noon, spent with amazing company :)!
